The international activities of the Finnish Association of Fire Officers involve interaction and collaboration between various associations and organizations. The aim is to learn from international practices and experiences in our country, as well as, to export and market Finnish expertise in fire and rescue sectors.

The Finnish Association of Fire Officers maintains strong connections, especially with other Nordic fire officers’ associations, and a key part of its activities involves participation in FEU – The Federation of EUropean fire officers.

The Finnish Association of Fire Officers, among others, is also a member of International Association of Fire Chiefs(IAFC) and Comite Tecnique International de Prevention et d’Extinction du Feu (CTIF).
